Mama = The role I'm about to joyfully add come Feb 2013.

I'll be a FTM at 35 (due Feb 2013) and I'm using this blog to get ready for baby, connect with other moms, and imbue my evolving role as mom with maitri... and some tasty food.

I wasn't one of those people who just knew since they were little that they wanted to be a parent; my journey was a little more ambivalent. However, I'm thrilled to be blessed with the chance to embrace this new adventure now that the timing is right. I have a big heart for all moms out there, those who are trying to become moms, and those who are (or aren't) sure if they want to be moms. I believe in supporting one another as women as we all navigate the issue of motherhood and parenthood. I also support the dads & dads-to-be, especially my hubby.
